Frames & Raised Beds

Cold frames and raised beds for more garden enjoyment
Cold beds and raised beds can be found in almost every garden, as they both provide delicious fresh vegetables in small gardens, without having to topple a bed. Cold frames live up to their name. Depending on the region, sturdy vegetables can be sown in February or March. With a flexible lid as a cold protection tunnel, you have the advantage that the cold frames can be removed again in the summer and the common seeds and Pflänzlein find their place. Another advantage of these tunnel beds is the protection against birds. As nice as sparrows & Co. are when it comes to their own garden, they become predators. With the tunnel protection you can protect against birds, but also keep the cozy warmth in the bed while it is very cold outside. Raised beds were formerly reserved for seniors, as they are simply back-friendly. But in the meantime, the younger generations have also recognized the advantages of raised beds and enjoy simple and, above all, snail-free gardening. In the raised beds there are simple models, very beautiful design raised beds and raised beds with roof. While the latter can be used much like a garden shed, design raised beds are above all responsible for the beauty of the garden and can be used to arrange flowers and grasses at eye level. The normal raised beds are ideal for growing vegetables and herbs. Here you build and plant at a safe height everything that pleases the palate. Snails and mice have almost no chance to conquer a raised bed and ants can be well kept away. In addition, there is the advantage that you do not have to bend over and find a raised bed in every garden, if you do not want to prune an extra bed.
